Awakening your body begins with feeling connected to the earth and to your own center. One of the reasons we are so disconnected with our body is that we spend so much time living in our heads. This often makes us feel like we don’t even have our feet on the ground, and most of the time we don’t!
This grounding practice helps you connect with the earth by sending down a cord that literally holds your body on the earth. It also creates a sphere of protection around you so that you won’t take on other people’s energies.
I highly recommend doing this practice every morning when you wake up to keep you grounded during the day.
